Touching story: Local schoolteacher saves field trip with custom signs!

I love being a teacher, although it can be frustrating at times. But I would do anything for my students —really! Even though they routinely pass notes while I'm talking, "forget" their homework and fight during recess, my fourth graders mean everything to me. So when our long—planned trip to Washington DC was cut due to budget issues, I knew I had to fix it.

I came up with the rather brilliant plan of a bake sale. I know, it's been done. But if it's not broke don't fix it, right!?
