How to Mount Your {Aluminum Banner Frame|Vinyl Graphics|Banner| on a Vehicle

A very common frame material for this purpose is the TS21 Aluminum bar.

You can affix the TS21 {frame|bar| with screws on the delivery vehicle, trailer panels, or use the other approach that many of our clients have employed to complete the job by using double-sided tape. The tape needs to be an Ultra or Very High Bond (UHB/VHB) double-coated tape used to make a strong long-lasting adhesive. Foamed acrylics generally will adhere more securely to an uneven or curved surface than a solid acrylic. In this example the client is using a solid acrylic tape.

Begin with the top and remove the initial two-inch TS80 and insert the TS80 rail with a dead blow hammer. The TS80 has to be inserted at an angle Make sure to leave an additional 4" length on both sides of the rails.

Continue replacing the two-inch sections with the TS80 rail on the sides and complete the installation at the bottom.

Extremely Essential: The banner tension is applied when the TS80 placed at a slant is flattened using a dead blow hammer.

When the 4 TS80 bars are in place, start to cut the TS80 using a hacksaw or a sharp cutting knife.

Note: Use both the cutting knife and the hacksaw and go with the tool that is the most convenient.

Continue using the hacksaw, leave| a mark on the bottom of the TS80 that you will utilize as guide to cut the additional TS80 bar.

At this time use the dead blow hammer to flatten the two TS80 bars.

The final: Utilize a cutter to remove the extra graphic material around the custom banners, {using the TS80 as your guide. You are done!
