Step 1: Take all pieces from the bag.

Step 2: Choose the location for the banner display on dirt or grass. Press the sharp end of the Spike Base firmly into the ground.

Step 3: Put together Bottom Pole w/Shock Cord. Set the footer of the Top Pole securely into the hole on the top end of the completed Bottom Pole.

Step 4: Place the Cover end of the Top Pole into the lower part of the Feather Flag Banner. Slowly slide the shaft into the Flag until the Cap shows through the top end. Move the Cap into the double–stitched area at the top end of the Flying Banner and be sure that it is all the way inserted.

Step 5: Pull on the Pull Cords at the bottom of the Feather Flag. The top of the Pole will bend as the Flag is moved into position. Tie the Pull Cords tightly to the Flag Tie–Down Clip near the bottom of the Assembled Pole. Loosen the thumb screw on the Flag Securing Clip and move the Clip accordingly to adjust tension on the banner.

Step 6: Push the bottom of the Lower Pole over the Locking Shaft on the Spike Footer. Press down until snug. Slide the Locking Ring down and turn a little to secure in place, noticing the tiny notches and channels that keep the Locking Ring from shifting when not lined up correctly.
