We coat all our signs with economy grade finish for free — it's always standard. Standard grade — Our high quality finish will last up to three years outside. This finish includes a clear dura—shield UV protective laminate that is also scratch resistant.

Premium grade — This premium finish is made to last up to five years outside. This also includes our premium grade 3M UV protective laminate. We also offer reflective premium laminate.

How do I know which to choose?

That's up to you, but we always have sign specialists on hand to help you decide on vital sign elements, such as the finish you choose.

However, higher grade finishes are best for some common weather conditions. If the ocean is close by, the salty air can break down your sign. Hight heat can do the same, so you may want a high grade finish if your Charleston sign is always in the sun.

Are high grade finishes worth it?
