Levels

Economy grade — This quality finish is rated to last up to three years outside. It will protect your sign from harsh weather conditions. We coat all our signs with economy grade finish for absolutely no extra charge — it's always standard. Standard grade — Our high quality finish will last up to five years outdoors. This finish includes a clear dura—shield UV protective laminate that is also scratch resistant.

Premium grade — This premium finish is made to last six to eight years outdoors. This also includes our premium grade 3M UV protective laminate. We also offer reflective premium laminate.

Which should I choose?

That's up to you, but we always have sign specialists on hand to help you decide on vital sign elements, such as the finish you choose.

But there are certain weather conditions that generally call for higher grade finishes. If the ocean is close by, the salty air can wreak havoc on your sign. Extreme humidit can do the same, so you may consider a high grade finish if your Charleston sign always sits in the sun.
